Where we Grow Together

When you walk through our early learning centres, we want your child to become immersed in a home away from home.  A home where learning potential is maximised, parents are actively involved and where memories are made daily.

Our Philosophy

We understand the importance of education in the formative years of a child’s life. Our classrooms act as a doorway to further development, where learning is encouraged anywhere, at any time. Our educators encourage parental participation in the care of their children through decision making and involvement in a consultative and advisory manner.

Learning at Where We Grow, will instil in your child important personal qualities, and encourage them to become intrinsically motivated, innately curious and open-minded young learners. What your child learns at Where We Grow, will carry with them for life.

Natural & sustainability

We are not only passionate about learning in the classroom setting, but we believe that nature and the environment plays a key role in education.

Early Years Learning Framework

Our curriculum is child initiated, play based and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

Highest quality care

We strive to provide the highest quality care and early childhood education for all children and families at our service.

Engaging classrooms

Our classrooms are designed with real and purposeful activities where we let them freely explore their surroundings.

For families

We invite all families to attend an orientation process before commencing at our centres, which is focused on the individual needs of each child and assists them to adjust into a new environment.

How to get started?

Before your child starts her first day, we invite all families to join our orientation. This orientation addresses each child's unique needs and helps them adjust to the new environment. For some children, starting with shorter care periods, such as half days for the first few days, may be beneficial. Gradually increasing to full days can help ease the transition. Depending on how your child adjust, we’ll recommend the best way to help them. We ensure open and ongoing communication to support children as they settle in.

Can I claim CSS with Where We Grow?

Our centres are registered with the Commonwealth Government for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Families can access fee assistance from the Government towards the cost of fees. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment made by the Australian Government to help families with the cost of quality child care and early education. This is paid directly to our centres to reduce your weekly fees.

What’s your arrival/pick up policy?

Upon arrival, families will be assisted to sign in their child on the ipads in the foyer, find their child’s locker and accompany your child into the room. The room leader will settle the child by offering breakfast if it is early or introducing them to an experience in the room. It is important to always say goodbye to your child at drop-off and re-assure them that you will be back later in the day to pick them up. This helps them have a sense of security rather than quickly dropping them off.

How do you deal with separation anxiety?

Our educators will assist your child throughout the class and will communicate through our Kindyhub app. We will send you updates and photos on how your child’s day is progressing. Children adjustment can range from a day or several week or months. It is advisable to say goodbye and assure them that you will be back in the afternoon to pick them up. Give them hug and kiss before departing. Rest assured that our educators will be there to help in every step of the way.

What kind of activities do you have?

Here at Where We Grow, we try to make sure to conduct various extra-curricular activities that’s beneficial to children. These activities promote physical, social, and cognitive development. We offer art and craft sessions, music and movement classes, outdoor play, and educational games. Each activity is designed to be fun and engaging, helping children learn and grow in a supportive environment.
